When you use Mixtape Monster, we may collect account information connected to your Spotify sign-in, such as your Spotify user identifier, display name, email address when provided by Spotify, profile image, and the access or refresh tokens needed to keep your Mixtape Monster account connected.

We may also collect app activity, including saved releases, saved artists, playback actions, device and diagnostic information, support messages, and basic usage events that help us operate and improve the service.

We use information to create and maintain your Mixtape Monster account, connect Spotify for music playback, personalize your music discovery experience, save content you choose to revisit, provide support, monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

Spotify access tokens are used to support Spotify-powered sign-in and playback. Mixtape Monster does not sell your Spotify account credentials.

With your permission, the Mixtape Monster website uses Google Analytics to understand visits, page views, referral sources, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and how visitors engage with the site. We use this information in aggregate to improve the website and our services. We do not send your Mixtape Monster account identifier, Spotify identifier, or email address to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics stays off until you select Accept in the analytics notice. You can decline Google Analytics or change your choice at any time through Cookie Preferences in the website footer. Your choice is stored in your browser so the website can remember it.

Mixtape Monster uses Spotify for sign-in and music playback. Your use of Spotify remains subject to Spotify terms, privacy policy, account requirements, subscription requirements, and regional availability.

If you disconnect Spotify or revoke Mixtape Monster access through Spotify, some features may stop working until you reconnect.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, and operate Mixtape Monster. These providers are expected to use information only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Mixtape Monster and our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You can revoke Mixtape Monster Spotify access through your Spotify account settings. You may also contact us to request help with account access, deletion, or privacy questions.

Some data may need to be retained where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records.

Mixtape Monster is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
